Who handles the information

Where the information comes from

We fetch case files from Tjek Energimærke at Energistyrelsen. The files are public.

We fetch case files only for energy labels a firm asks us to handle.

What we keep

We remove your name, your email address, the firm's email address and the firm's phone number as we read the file.

We keep the firm number and a salted hash of your consultant ID. The hash cannot be traced back to your ID without our salt.

We keep the survey date, because it feeds a count of surveys per day.

Why we handle it

Under BEK 549 bilag 1 pkt. 9 a firm must have another energy consultant review a sample of its labels.

We draw the sample and prepare the review. Our interest in delivering that service is the legal basis.

Who sees it

Only the firm that reported the energy label sees the result.

We use Supabase for the database and Resend for email. Both handle data in the EU.

How long we keep it

We keep a draw for five years, because the firm must be able to show it to a DANAK auditor.

We delete case files as soon as the dossier is written.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction and deletion.

You can object under article 21. Write to us, and we stop the handling unless we can show compelling grounds.

You can complain to Datatilsynet.
